INAUGURAL OBSERVANCE OF INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST MEN AND BOYS SET FOR 31 JANUARY 2020

International Men's Day and its supporters condemns all types of violence against humanity. Violence being defined as physical, psychological or emotional acts that causes harm, injury, bloodshed, mental distress or trauma.

The first global observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Men and Boys will be held on 31 January 2020. Henceforth, in the future, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Men and Boys will be annually observed on the last day of January.  The month of January has been designated as Men And Boys Emotional Health Month.
