TEN CORE PRINCIPLES OF WORLD DAY OF THE BOY CHILD

Institutions, organizations, and individuals throughout our global village will observe World Day Of The Boy Child under the theme, “Empowering, Guiding, And Providing Role Models For A Peaceful World” on 16 May 2020. The correct title of the annual observance on 16 May is 'World Day of the Boy Child'. Other titles designated to this Day are not recognized and will lead to confusion. Also, there is one major logo for World Day of the Boy Child. The logo was designed in 2019 by Mr. Ola Akinwe, the World Day Of The Boy Child Coordinator for Nigeria. The words on the logo 'World Day of the Boy Child' can be translated to other languages.

World Day Of The Boy Child has ten (10) core principles:

1. Educating and Mentoring

2. Honoring boys who are talented and achievers

3. Rescuing boys from poverty and war

4. Eradicating illiteracy and underachievement

5. Addressing discrimination against boys

6. Promoting positive minds and good health in boys

7. Offering freedom and safety

8. Championing equality and equity

9. Maintaining good values and morals

10. Empowering boys
